All Elite Wrestling (AEW) at Wembley Stadium 2023

In 2023, All Elite Wrestling (AEW) made history with its first-ever event outside North America, debuting at Wembley Stadium to a record-breaking, sold-out crowd. It became the largest pro wrestling event in European history, broadcast to over 70 countries and solidifying AEW’s growing fan base across the continent. Following this monumental success, AEW: All In London returned to Wembley Stadium over the bank holiday weekend on Sunday, August 25th, 2024. Titanium Fireworks once again provided top-class pyrotechnics and special effects for this highly anticipated event.

Partnering with E1 FX, the American special effects provider, Titanium Fireworks is delivering an extraordinary visual experience, designed to elevate the drama of AEW’s action-packed spectacle. One of the standout elements is the pyrotechnics fired from Wembley’s iconic arch, a technical feat that involves rigging 32 pyrotechnic positions to the 132-meter-high structure. With its 315-meter span, the Wembley Arch is the longest single-span roof structure in the world, visible across London. This complex installation, requiring a skilled rope access team, takes three days to set up. The team installs bespoke cradles, runs 600 meters of data cable, and positions pyro plates capable of firing up to 72 products from each position.

Due to Wembley Stadium’s packed schedule, including Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour just days before AEW’s event, installation for the 2024 show began early. All rigging and cabling are carefully prepared to ensure the pyrotechnics are ready for deployment on the day of the event.

In addition to the arch display, Titanium Fireworks is rigging 48 pyrotechnic positions around all four elevations of Wembley’s sliding roof, located 52 meters above the pitch. This setup will deliver nearly 2,000 pyrotechnic effects, creating a breathtaking “ceiling of fire” above the field of play.

Ringside, the action will be further enhanced with stage pyrotechnics, flame units, and special effects tailored to each wrestler’s entrance. Silver jets, flame projectors on the ring posts, and a grand confetti blast during the champion’s announcement will add an extra layer of spectacle to the event.

With the 2024 edition being even bigger and better than last year’s groundbreaking show, Titanium Fireworks was thrilled to lend their expertise in pyrotechnics and special effects to one of the most anticipated wrestling events of the year.
