Meet the Team: John Harding

Favourite career moment to date:

Being able to fire the first show that my girlfriend and I watched together, as that inspired me to become a pyrotechnician

What do you most enjoy about your Job :

The challenge of every display, meeting new people and being part of a team.

Watching every display and appreciating and being proud of what we achieve

What aspect of your job do you least enjoy:

Waiting for the show to fire, the nerves kick in and constantly worry about weather changes

Favourite Project to have worked on:

The Mayor of London N.Y.E fireworks 2016, being a Londoner, I was hugely proud to be part of the team and help put London on the map.

What is one thing you absolutely will check off your “bucket” list:

It is a life long ambition to pass my PPL(H). I have loved helicopters since I was a child and adore the freedom of flying where the views can not be beaten.

If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go and why?

I would go to New Orleans to experience the complete Mardi Gras celebration – The floats , the music, the colours and the partying. It always looks so amazing and I’d love to be there.
